Music may be an asset for an audiophile, but they require equally refined systems to immortalize the acoustic luxuries in their mind and soul. Designed as a part of the exclusive Aurum series, the “Sound Carrier 300 B” is an acoustical perfection from the house of Tehnicki Centar Krklec that promises to fulfill any audiophile’s quest for absolute sound. Built on a gold plated copper chassis, the music system other than presenting the crystal-clear sound also touts high-end components. Featuring transformers built on double C-cores, the €12 000 ($17,281) Sound Carrier also includes Mundorf Silver Gold Oil coupling capacitors, 2W tantalum Audionote resistors, Cardas speakers and RCA terminals, together with 300 B Western Electric tubes and Mundorf and Audionote wiring. A great prospect we guess to ensure sweet musical melodies.

It’s still a while before chilly weather, so shopping for the winter may be an early idea at the moment. But if you are one of those who keep everything in a particular order at home and refrain from eleventh hour shopping, German designer Axel Schaefer has come up with a unique coffee table that comes integrated with a chic fireplace to warm your place in cold winters, and it may be a great idea to buy. Called “FIRE,” the coffee table touts an asymmetric and clear body finished in HPL (high pressure laminate) that not only makes the table look glossy but also ensures durability. The Fire other than enhancing the interiors also helps the users in reducing the carbon footprint, for the fireplace burns bio-ethanol to heat to your place. The FIRE coffee table is available in three different finishes, ebony high gloss for €3,890 ($5,571), colored for €3,000 ($4,296) and natural stone for €6,900 ($9,882), so you may pick one to meet your liking or the interior of your living space.

It is said aged wine is not poured into a new wineskin, or it might spoil. However, William Grant & Sons seems to have a different idea, as the Scottish distiller is putting old wine into new wineskins to set its Glenfiddich 50-year-old single malt Scotch selling for £10,000 (about $16,000) a bottle, making it the second-most expensive whiskey bottle in the world. The worth of the limited edition malt Scotch whiskey can well be gauged by the fact that the company will release only 50 bottles yearly for the next decade. Moreover, the treasured whiskey bottles come wrapped in a Scottish hand-stitched, leather-bound case, in addition to the leather-bound book that contains the history of the whiskey.
