Majestically magnanimous is the most appropriate phrase to describe the abundance of grace and elegance embodied in this piano. With authentic ostrich feathers covering its legs, over 4000 shining Swarovski crystals detailing the precious curves replicate the magnanimity of a star-studded sky in a dark room. Fashioned in dedication to the class and beauty of Marilyn Monroe, the piano also wears a hand-painted image of the glamour goddess. Check out the gallery for more images.

Fashion for Relief Charity apace at London Fashion Week proves that fashion goes beyond gorgeous faces and beautiful bodies. Recently, various sources reported on a tie-up between supermodel Naomi Campbell and Lotus on a special project called “Naomi for Haiti,” wherein Lotus will auction off eight special-edition 2010 Lotus Evoras with all the proceeds directly going to relief efforts in the devastated country of Haiti. The first of the eight “Naomi For Haiti” Lotus Evoras was auctioned at the London Fashion Week for £320,000 (approx. $500,000) and it was bought by none other than Naomi Campbell’s boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin. The special edition Evoras wearing a dynamic color scheme also bear a Haitian flag emblazoned on the two doors with the words “Naomi for Haiti” accompanying it. The remaining cars would likewise be up for auction until February 28.

It may not be the world’s most expensive amplifier, but this Universal Power Amplifier from NBS commands an asking price of $80,000 each for its universal design and operation. The unusual amplifier designed in a mono-block has three separate sections — a short one in the middle that fits as the power conditioner, and two tall ones that house the power supply and audio circuitry. To ensure the best possible functioning, the amplifiers can operate perfectly well with any AC voltage from 85 to 265V and have huge load tolerance, safely delivering 600W to the speakers.

There’s one thing common about all the historical fraudsters, they love their family more than any creature on this planet. This is the reason why Kirk Wright (hedge fund fraudster) bought his wife this pink-festooned Lamborghini (along with a $55,000 engagement ring). This $200,000 Lamborghini Gallardo with a custom-made rhinestone-bedazzled logo is a subtle three inches wider than the original, has a pink Alcantara interior and custom-painted Asanti wheels and was eventually purchased from the police impound by EuroMotorSport in Ft. Lauderdale. However, the import shop is currently in the process of reselling the stunner in order to donate a portion of proceeds to the victims of fraud.

As the virtual worlds are becoming mainstream, it would come as a little surprise that people have started buying virtual properties with real money, however, you are in for a big surprise as the world’s most expensive virtual island goes on sale for a whopping $26,500. The amount is paid by David Storey, a 27-year-old graduate student living in Sydney, Australia, who got his name listed in the Guinness World Records for “Most valuable object that is virtual.” It is estimated that the virtual goods market in the U.S. would reach $1.6 billion this year, up from $1 billion in 2009, but that’s just a tip of the iceberg if stakes from countries like China and Korea are taken into account. Calling Mr. Storey’s example as extreme would make me sound a little old fashioned, but it certainly is extreme.

Long-range cruisers have taken over as the most popular type of vessels being sold today, but with their monstrous and attractive style comes a whopping price tag as well. However, SV Design’s new creation is a yacht concept different from her relatives, mainly oriented toward savings. With its simple geometric shapes for hull, superstructure and windows, SV Design has managed to put up a large and luxurious yacht with a very reasonable building cost. Dubbed Private, this yacht’s organized layout starting from a wide helipad and a wheelhouse dominating the whole ship, gives a very neat theme to the vessel. The top deck is exclusively dedicated to the owner’s suite, with a big accommodation area opening to a sheltered sun deck and jacuzzi through wide windows is among the industry’s best practices and definitely offers a big attraction to own one. The main deck is receiving lounges and VIP cabins while the lower aft deck is made of a large lazarette fitted with wide doors opening on three directions, to become a fully equipped bath area. However, the lower forward deck is totally dedicated to technical facilities and crewmembers. At a maximum cruising speed of 18 knots, Private’s power consumption is reduced to its minimum with the use of the latest technology for air conditioning equipment and insulation, solar power for sanitary hot water production, and a combination of diesel electric generators used for both propulsion plant and/or electric domestic needs.
